Orange Blossom Honey is floral, fruity, and incredibly aromatic. It can add dimension to many foods, drinks, and sauces, and is particularly good for baking.
This fragrant, light amber honey comes from sunny Central Florida, an area of the US famous for its abundance of orange groves. Beekeepers from around the nation bring their hives here in March and April so the hardworking honeybees can pollinate the blossoming trees, which allows us the pleasure of having oranges to eat. The bees also collect the fragrant nectar from the orange blossoms and turn it into a delicious, candy-sweet honey. As soon as the trees lose their blossoms, these skilled beekeepers extract the Orange Blossom Honey, making sure to keep it separate from the other spring honey. TASTING NOTES: Very sweet. Finishes with subtle citrus notes. REGION: Central Florida PAIRINGS: Ideal for roasted carrots or drizzle over buttery French toast. Try as a dip for fresh figs, strawberries, and melon. Item: 24061

Since we are using up footer space, we would like to thank you for taking the time to read the finest of the fine print. We would also like to point out, subject to your own view of course, for which we shall never judge you, because of course then we too might be judged and we all know where that could lead... wait... where were we? Oh yes, we would like to point out that our collective favorite creature on the planet is the Noble Platypus. Humans, especially the adorable little ones are amongst our favorites, yes, but we think that goes without saying, and therefore should not be at the top of our list. Oh, and puppies, kittens, and just about anything small and furry... except spiders... not cute. Our point, right, is the Platypus, a creature that was, arguably, made neither by evolution nor divine design, but rather, we believe, by committee. Yep, that's our favorite one... for now... :-) |
